Kent Henderson, ACSW, President

Kent holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Syracuse University, is a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers and has 40 years of increasingly responsible practice, supervisory, administrative and consulting experience in public and private human service agencies, organizations, and businesses. His role as Regional Manager with The Casey Family Program provided him the opportunity to supervise, manage and help develop programs in diverse geographical and cultural environments from Louisiana to Hawaii in the South and North Dakota, Montana and Idaho in the North.  Programs involved ranged from long term foster care and mentoring, to a specialized foster care Program  designed to address the needs of serious juvenile offenders in a foster family environment.  leading the development and implementation of the agacny's quality improvement model was also a major focus.

As the Bureau Chief for Family Services with the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, he was responsible for implementation of policy, administrative procedures, quality assurance, quality improvement and training in family centered services and child welfare, substance abuse and juvenile justice policy and practice for the state.  His direct practice experience included work in Juvenile Justice, Child welfare and Child mental health. He has provided consultation and strategic planning and quality improvement for school districts, a broad range of public and private social service entities and business.

Mr. Henderson excels in the knowledge of computers and the application of computer technology to human service, educational organizations and business.  He has created the conceptual design and developed the majority of the software for seven major client centered family/child welfare, and educational information systems.  One system based on his conceptual design is being marketed nationally to human service organizations. 

He is currently the owner of a business and also a co-founder and president in the consulting firm of Henderson, Hopper and Associates, LLC which specializes in assisting businesses, educational institutions, and human service organizations in such areas as strategic planning, systems design, training and the design and implementation of customized models of accountability and quality improvement.
